I support the master plan text as written. This coming Sunday, Mothers Day, will reach 91°F. Birds & marine life are dying from an ocean heat blob expected to cause a Super El Nino. We need heat tolerant native trees & greenery for our children's & birds/bees/etc. health. We do NOT need heat-island, heat-exhaustion causing Pour-in-Place rubber nor plastic-grass. We may need plants that normally grow further south or inland, better adapted to heat & lower water. Keep our parks & city resilient.
