Why are playgrounds closed? The risks of covid to this age group don’t justify continued closure. As parents supervise/ensure safety of their child we can be responsible for hand washing after a trip to the park. Our kids need this. The science supports it. Keeping parks off limits while other activities resumes seems cruel to our children with no basis for this action. Nearby cities have opened their parks. I’m asking Santa Clara to do the same.
