The Youth Soccer Park Parking Lot should NOT be used for outside events. It should only be used for the SC Youth Soccer League.

Please don't agendize this item. We need a comprehensive approach to long-term issues at Levi's Stadium, not cherry-picking issues. The 49ers haven't acted in good faith in many areas, including their intentions for Youth Soccer Park. It's dangerous to open this door to them. This council must focus on priorities. In his public meeting last week, Councilmember Jain blamed Policy 030 items for the lack of Council progress. He didn't say he was adding yet another 030 item to this agenda.

SCYSL uses YSP virtually every possible day allowed. YSP was closed on 11/28/21 and 1/2/22 for holidays, so we couldn't have games those 49er game days. We need the parking lot to be able to have games and practices. YSP was closed for practice virtually the entire Fall 2021 season. The purpose of YSP is youth soccer. Please do not start infringing on our parking lot. We have been down this road before with the 49ers, and if we give an inch, they will try to take a mile. FOR THE KIDS!!

The 49ers have shown little ability to keep their word. From the beginning they've tried to take over the youth soccer fields. Frankly they are not to be trusted, even with "limitations." Just say NO. Keep the soccer fields for the kids. Maybe SOMEDAY, in a year or two at least, if the 49ers somehow show themselves to be trustworthy this can be revisited.
