How many rooms in one unit? Is one unit only for one family? Can multi families live in one unit? How did you come up with total 120 people?
Please vote No to this proposal. We don't want to write a blank check to LifeMoves; their operating records are bad enough already.
Please vote "No" and listen to the vast majority of your tax paying residents. We are willing to work with you in finding solutions that are acceptable and help solve the homelessness issue. This location is a good fit for families with livelihood nearby who may be on the verge of being homeless and do not pose a risk. Please do not play with our lives by imposing folks with criminal background due to lack of screening. You actions would show whether you really care about our lives.
Can someone clarify if the proposed site is Benton and Lawrence?
The City Council Notice of Public Hearing states it is located at 2350 Benton Street, about two miles east of Benton/Lawrence.
