We strongly oppose the low-barrier interim housing proposed at Benton Street & Lawrence Expressway.
In light of the many issues raised during the public hearing, and the overwhelming opposition from the community, we ask that the City of Santa Clara vote NO on the Benton Street & Lawrence Expressway.
Voting Yes is a serious breach of your fiduciary responsibility you hold to your city. Please consider this while voting.

Please vote NO to the proposal. A no screening shelter shouldn't be built in residential area. LifeMoves is playing tricks to use a plan of 30 units for families to fool community. LifeMoves admitted that they can change the shelter to host non-family clients after 6 months. In the proposal, LifeMoves used word “would” instead of determined verb, when they are talking about the supportive services. Those services are not guaranteed! There is no oversight to assure LifeMoves keep their promises!
