Dear Mayor Gillmor and City Councilmembers:

We ask the City of Santa Clara immediately stop this proposal.
The County and LifeMoves sneaked in 8 pages of presentations into the "4-25-23 Post Meeting Materials"; they were not part of County and LifeMOves' presentation on 4/25.
We the public did not have a chance to review them, comment on them.
This is clearly a violation of Public Hearing codes and laws.

    Please Vote NO!

There are many facts indicated that this location is wrongly selected. It is next to two liquor stores and 0.5 miles to another interim housing Bella Vista. How can the City justify why this neighborhood need two shelters, given this neighborhood have very few homeless people? The city of Santa Clara already have many shelters and they haven't reach their full capacity yet! Why not take a good use of existing facilities? Pushing to build new shelters is wasting and abusing public resources.
