Dear Mayor Gillmor and City Councilmembers:
We ask the City of Santa Clara immediately stop this proposal.
The County and LifeMoves sneaked in 8 pages of presentations into the "4-25-23 Post Meeting Materials"; they were not part of LifeMOves' presentation on 4/25.
We the public did not have a chance to review them, comment on them.
Is this a violation of Public Hearing codes and laws??
    Please Vote NO!

The community guideline of MTV outlined what clients are supposed to do and not do. However, in terms of execution, LifeMoves MTV site failed to evict sexual assault client.
Also, how can city guarantee the safety in the neighborhood? Do you have any plans for that?
How can City evaluate the service provided by LifeMoves? Is there Quality Assurance and Quality Control in place to ensure the quality of LifeMoves’ service? What penalty LifeMoves have to pay if they failed to execute?

    1) Funding: Huge burden on Santa Clara
    2) No background checks or ID verification leading to safety and security concerns
    3) County imposing shelters in Santa Clara which already has a high ratio of beds per homeless in all of county while completely not enforcing in affluent cities like Saratoga
    4) Incorrect information used for distance to bus stops and market place
    5) 90 bedrooms that can be converted to house singles/couples
    6) 80-95% of residents oppose with 5k+ wet signatures.
