    The agenda placement request asks for an agenda item to "establish a budget for support of public meetings" etc. Is this a budget to pay for city staff time? Why, exactly, is such a line item needed? Aren't city staff already compensated for routine council requests? Or is this a budget to pay for non city personnel? Why? What makes this "budget" necessary? Are Councilmembers planning to place an unusual number of measures on the upcoming 2024 ballot?
