Did the proposed design get larger? Were there any attempts made to work with fellow neighbors who had graciously volunteered their time? We joined the previous meeting to see the fresh new take on an older home down the street. We were only confronted with the owner’s attitude that they’ll do whatever they want so long as our elected officials are asleep and not listening to their constituents.

The new proposal does not seem to incorporate feedback and concerns addressed from October that reflect the desire to preserve our Old Quad community. It is disappointing that the extensive new proposal disregards community members’ voices. We hope revisions can be made that find a happy medium to have this family as truly part of our community.

After all of the feedback that this project received in October, it is both clear and disappointing that they have not worked with their neighbors nor listened to the feedback from their last proposal. Since no significant changes have been made to help this proposal better fit in the neighborhood, I strongly oppose this project.
