    I'm appalled that we are currently acquiring military equipment for use by our taxpayer-funded police department to use against us taxpayers. I'm sorry I missed this in 2022, in the wake of the George Floyd murder and all the other police murders all across the country. I am completely OPPOSED to its continuation. I did read the police response, and I appreciate the time they took to write it, but that does not change my view. The money could be better spent.
